The Safe Place program offers guidance for churches to ensure the safety of these individuals, including training volunteers and staff, developing appropriate policies and procedures, and promoting transparency and accountability to families. The Christian and Missionary Alliance has partnered with Plan to Protect™ to create a comprehensive plan specifically for kids and teens, covering essential topics such as volunteer screening, legal responsibilities, suicide prevention, and substance abuse. Safe Places also includes helpful appendices, with 39 sections and over 85 pages of information, as well as downloadable content available for free.
